Determine Compressor Type

1. Check model number (See Find Refrigerator Model Number) and check it against a supply house.
   1. Look for inverter in the parts list;
   2. Look at compressor in parts list;
      1. Does it say inverter?
      2. Is it rated for more than 150v?
         1. If yes then it’s probably Inverter controlled.
      3. Does it say 3ph or 3 phase on it?
         1. If yes then it’s probably Inverter controlled.
2. Remove compressor cover, at the bottom back of refrigerator.
   1. Read compressor label
