GE GSH25 Side by Side not cooling or freezing
Nov. 2021, Diamond Bar, CA. GE GSH25JSXLSS is not cooling. My diagnosis: Both sides (refrigerator/freezer) warm, 70°; I determined the sealed system is at issue. I examined the compressor department. Condenser fan running and compressor not running.(See How to determine if compressor is running!) The Inverter Compressor (See Determine Compressor Type ) passed primary compressor inspection (See Determine If Compressor Runs ) so I turned my attention to the inverter. All electrical inputs were present, all connections were good; (See Diagnosing GE Style Inverter ) No voltage to compressor terminals, I condemned inverter.
I bought new inverter from supply house. Unfortunately the connector for the DC signal was wrong connector so I used the old connector; worked perfectly.
